The New Brunswick Dental Hygienists Association (NBDHA), an organization representing dental hygienists from across the province, was incorporated as a not-for-profit organization in accordance with the Canada Corporations Act in December 1996.

Mission Statement

The NBDHA exists for its members as the voice and vision of the dental hygiene profession. We are committed to promoting and advocating professional growth and education which contributes to the oral health and wellbeing of residents of New-Brunswick.

The NBDHA believes that adequate health care is the fundamental entitlement of every resident of New-Brunswick and that oral health is integral to general health.  Dental hygienists, as health professionals, serve the health needs of all residents in a variety of roles and environments, working with other health care professionals to make health care available to all Canadians.
